How to Export data to work with MMS
2008.
If you have a list of users/members in
Microsoft Outlook & would like to import that list into
MMS 2008 then please follow the instructions below:
For Outlook Express Click

For Outlook 2000/XP/2003 click

For Excel all version click
HERE
1. Open Outlook Express
2. Select Export, then Address from the File menu. The
Export wizard will then open.
3. From the list, you need to select Text File (Comma
Separated Values).
Select the Export button.
4. Type the name of the CSV file you are going to create.
5. Click finish
Once you have your file (contact.csv
above) please email it to
support@lumisys.co.uk & we will convert it to a file
that will work with MMS 2008 for FREE.
How to
export Contacts from Outlook
1. Open Outlook
2. Select Import and Export from the File menu. The
Import and Export wizard will then open.
3. From the list, you need to select Export to a file.
Select the Next button.
4. Select Comma Separated Values (DOS) from the list of
file types.
Select the Next button.
5. Select Contacts from under Mailbox Your Name.
Select the Next button.
6. Type the name of the CSV file you are going to create.
7. Select the Browse button to make note of where on your
hard drive the CSV file will be saved.
8. Select the Next button.
This last screen of the wizard shows you what action you
are going to perform.
If the appropriate item is checked, select the Finish
button.
Once you have your file (contact.csv
above) please email it to
support@lumisys.co.uk & we will convert it to a file
that will work with MMS 2008 for FREE.
How to export data from Excel to work in MMS 2008
1. Open your file in Excel
2. Click on FILE and SAVE
AS
3. At the bottom of the
window that opens click on Save as type & select CSV(MS-DOS)(*.csv).
Depending on your version of Excel may look slightly
different, but in general you need to export to a CSV
file.
4. Enter a new name for the
file & click on SAVE.
Once you have your file please email it to
support@lumisys.co.uk & we will convert it to a file
that will work with MMS 2008 for FREE.
