• In the Options screen you can now change the Membership naming Format.  This is chosen when you set up your MMS database.  You can now change it at any time .. Note: The change will only affect new members.
• A new All Members V4 report has been added by popular request.
• A new report called archived members has been added.  This is a supplement to the changes made in V1.51 where members are not deleted, but archived.  You can run this report to see when & who was archived.
• On the Main Screen when using a Bar Code Scanner you can view info on that member.  The Members Renewal Date is also now displayed.
• In the Members Entry Screen you can now right-click on the TITLE field & add/remove items to the pull down list.  You are no longer stuck with Mr, Mrs, Miss etc ...  Now you can add what you want.
• The Financial Information that was viewable from the Members Entry Screen by clicking a button is now accessible via 1 of 3 Tab views in the Members Entry Screen.  This makes it much easier to swap back and forth.
• There is now a 'OTHER INFO' Tab in the Members Entry screen.  You can add any information you want to this extra tab...  You can:

  • Add information on up to 14 different text fields
  • Add Information on up to 4 date fields
  • Add Information on 2 List fields
  • Rename ANY of these 20 fields & call it what you want.
  • This is in additional to the normal fields you use (Professional version only)

• That's 20 new fields for you to record all that extra information.  As well as this you can right-click & rename the labels to what suits, right-clicking on the 2 new Lists fields allows you to add items to the selectable list.  E.G., You decide to use one list for engine capacity so you right-click it, rename it to 'Engine Capacity' & then add 1000,1100,1200,1300,1600,1800,200 to the list.  Then when you add Members you can click the pull down list & select one of these values...easy!

Note: The 20 new fields do not display in reports or the Mail Merge ...this will be done in the coming weeks!

Coming in V1.53 - an update to the Bar Code scanning feature.  When scanning information it will be logged & you can generate a report on it.  Due end of June.

• When you delete a member it is no longer permanently deleted from your MMS database.  Instead it is archived.  It will not show on any report, mail merge or any other screen in MMS 2008. Later in June we will add a report to show you members that have been deleted (archived).  This has been requested by many users of MMS 2008.  We will also be adding an option in to purge the archived members, i.e. permanently remove them from the database.  We recommend that you keep old members archived & don't purge them, but the feature will be added for those that want to.

• When restoring a MMS 2008 database with a password in it you were not prompted for that password - you are now promoted to enter a password before you can view the restored database.
